Olivia is Co-Director of the Institute for Academic Development (IAD), and Head of Operations and Projects. Olivia is a University of Edinburgh alum, having graduated with MA Honours in English Literature & Classics in 2008. She has worked in Scottish Higher Education since then, starting her career at Heriot-Watt University and returning to the University of Edinburgh in 2010. Prior to joining the IAD in 2019 as Head of Operations & Projects, Olivia specialised in teaching administration working in progressively senior roles in four Schools across two Colleges, culminating in the Head of Postgraduate Office for Edinburgh College of Art. Olivia is an accredited member of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP) and holds a PgCert from Nottingham Trent University in Higher Education, Management & Leadership.
