Alan is Deputy Vice-Principal International and Director of Edinburgh Global. In this post, Alan provides strategic leadership on internationalisation and directs the University’s international operations. He has an undergraduate degree in Public Policy and Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in European Policy and Law, and is an alumnus of Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Institute for Educational Management. Alan is a US-UK Fulbright Commissioner, a member of the British Council Scotland Advisory Committee and a Trustee of the Council for At Risk Academics.
