Louise Kelso

Louise’s remit includes:

• Her position as chief legal officer of the University  
• Leading the Legal Services team and the Information Compliance Service, including the Data Protection team
• Providing strategic legal advice and supporting regulatory and information compliance across the University.

Her priorities include:

• Continuing to support and develop an expert team of professionals delivering excellent legal, regulatory and compliance advice
• Supporting excellent governance and decision-making through embedded legal and information compliance support for key strategic projects
• Adopting and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.
