University Secretary's Group comprises seven departments and a number of support services.

Paterson's Land houses the Office of Lifelong Learning, CALL (Communication, Access, Literacy and Learning) Scotland and the Scottish Sensory Centre (SSC).

Communications & Marketing (CAM) plays a key role in supporting the University's goals by managing our reputation through expert communications and marketing strategies.

Development and Alumni (D&A) focuses on building meaningful relationships with alumni, donors, staff, and students.

Edinburgh Global leads the University’s strategic international engagement.

Governance and Strategic Planning (GaSP) oversees corporate governance, including the University Court and its committees, and is integral to strategic planning and business intelligence.

Legal Services provides essential legal support across the University, aiding Schools, Colleges, Support Groups, and Professional Services in achieving the University's strategic and operational goals.
