The Complaint Handling Procedure is designed to ensure that complaints are properly investigated and are given careful and fair consideration.

We acknowledge that complaints provide valuable insight that can lead to improvements in our services.

The procedure involves up to two stages, with timescales outlined in the Complaints Handling Procedure.

The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) is the final stage for complaints about universities in Scotland.

The University will use information about complainants in examining, investigating and making decisions regarding complaints.
